Our #1 goal is to help new homeowners “settle in” their new community. Moving is stressful and the transition leaves many feeling lonely and distant. It takes time to begin to feel “normal” again, but with the help of a newspaper designed to quickly introduce new homeowners to their new area and provide them with the businesses, services and professionals that want to welcome them and introduce themselves by supporting the Texas homesteader, I hope to make their transition a lot more comfortable!

You could win many prizes by participating in the following Homesteader fun programs! Three tickets every month will be won to Six Flags over Texas one in each of the programs mentioned herein: Fake ad contest, Hidden Gem and Reader referral.

Fake Ad Contest:

Hidden among the pages of every issue of The Homesteader is a Fake Ad. If you would like the chance to win a $50 gift certificate to any advertiser or other great prizes, simply read the most recent issue carefully and see if you can spot the phony advertisement. Then fill out the contest entry and submit it!
